- Your clients’ members will now be welcomed by a personalized IVR, directing them to tailored resources and answers based on their profiles and recent interactions, optimizing the call experience.
- AI-assisted call note summaries will now empower Member Services, saving them time and providing enhanced transparency to clients.

What’s New in Compliance?
IRS issues draft of 2023 1095-C
Want to get the jump on your clients’ 2023 ACA filing preparation? The IRS has issued an early draft version of the 2023 IRS Form 1095-C. Your clients’ members should review the form and ensure their ACA plan, or administrator, is prepared. Businessolver is tracking this and any future updates in anticipation of tax year 2023 filings in early 2024.

New Guidance related to Short-Term, Limited-Duration Insurance and other items, issued by Departments of Treasury, Labor, and Health and Human Resources
The Departments of Labor, HHS, and Treasury issued proposed rules that would amend the definition of short-term, limited-duration insurance, which is excluded from the definition of individual health insurance coverage under the Public Health Service Act. The guidance also includes proposed amendments to the requirements for hospital indemnity or other fixed indemnity insurance to be considered an excepted benefit in the group and individual health insurance markets. This guidance sets forth proposed amendments to clarify the tax treatment of certain benefit payments in fixed amounts received under employer-provided accident and health plans. Also, it solicits comments regarding coverage only for a specified disease or illness that qualifies as excepted benefits.
Your clients’ members should review the plan types included in this new guidance. If they offer these plan types, ensure they know the proposed amendments and their potential impact on their plan offerings.
