November Think & Clink Recap
Our Think & Clink may be over, but it’s not too late to gain valuable insights from the event
Thank you to all who attended our November 2, Think & Clink focused on “Navigating 2023 Benefits Trends to Keep Your Clients Ahead of the Curve.” We were thrilled to see so many of you in attendance, especially with annual enrollment in full swing for many of your clients. If you couldn’t attend or just want to keep the information covered in the session fresh, here’s a quick recap below.
- Employee benefits are no longer simple perks, instead they now take into account wellbeing and empathy.
- At the top of client strategic organizational goals that will be a priority for 2024 and beyond are engaging their workforce and streamlining HR & benefits processes.
- To meet clients’ needs to engage their workforces, personalization needs to be happening year-round to meet members where they want to be met since 62% of employees expect their needs to be understood by their employers.
- Having the right benefits technology powered by artificial intelligence (AI) can help your clients personalize at scale, while creating added efficiency. One example of this is through intelligent listening capabilities.
- Future benefits trends that your clients should be taking advantage of in 2024 include a continuation of AI integration within benefits technology, greater focus on data-driven analytics and decision-making, and health & wellness as a requested benefit.

What’s New in Compliance?

Have your clients completed non-discrimination testing for 2023?
We have seen an increase in employers waiting until the last minute to complete their non-discrimination testing (NDT) for their dependent care FSAs. Client employers are encouraged to perform their NDT testing as early as possible in their plan year (we recommend Q2) to give them plenty of runway to make any necessary corrections or adjustments. If your clients haven’t completed their NDT testing, make sure they are aware and need to do so soon.
Check out this blog for more information on NDT testing.
