Many of the regulatory changes introduced in response to the pandemic include an expiration date based on the end of the national emergency.

While few expect our nation to return to “normal” following the pandemic, one thing is clear. When the state of emergency expires, so will several benefits-related regulations. Some will end immediately while others have a predetermined date of 60 days after the emergency is officially over.
