Tip of the Month
Forecast what’s to come
As budgets settle and claims patterns start emerging, February is a great time to review important client data. Early utilization patterns, enrollment selections, and even employee search behavior can reveal what’s about to impact your clients, whether that’s rising GLP‑1 interest, shifts in HSA engagement, or departments showing signs of burnout. Use this moment to surface emerging trends and help clients course‑correct before those trends drive costs or disengagement later in the year. The best advisors aren’t reactive; they’re anticipating what’s coming next.

Welcome to the era of anticipatory benefits
January marked more than a product upgrade—it signaled a new chapter for Businessolver. While personalization remains foundational technology, we needed to address a growing truth: personalization is not enough. Why?
- Personalization is reactive. 86% of employees are still confused and reactive experiences can’t keep up.
- It relies on claims data, and is by nature—delayed.
- Click-based experiences mostly help people who already know what to ask.
- Employees are digitally savvy consumers, and they expect more than personalization.
Enter anticipation.
Now, instead of reacting, our proprietary AI technology is translating insight into early action across the entire benefits ecosystem.
Meaning, insights that anticipate members' needs so they can make decisions with confidence. HR teams have context and signals helping them see patterns, risks, and opportunities early.
The new era of anticipatory benefits isn’t about smarter personalization. It’s a new standard for benefits. It’s the future of how we serve.

IRS issues updates to Q&A document on Premium Tax Credits
While primarily of interest to individuals, the IRS has issued updates to their Q&A document on Premium Tax Credits. This may be of interest to employers, as they help their employees navigate the healthcare marketplace subsidies.
Additionally, employees use these documents to understand whether the coverage offered to them by their employers is affordable and meets the minimum essential coverage. Employers should familiarize themselves with the group health benefits and ACA information accessible to and used by their employees.
