Tip of the Month:
Helping your clients avoid noise during AE
We’re nearing the final countdown towards annual enrollment. You’ve worked hard negotiating renewals and prepping your clients for what’s to come. Don’t let it be ruined by a subpar annual enrollment experience. Make sure your clients take time for “Annual Enrollment Testing,” before the AE window opens.
A few extra hours of diligence now can save them thousands later—and protect their employees from painful surprises. So check out our guide below for more key tips to ensure a successful annual enrollment for your clients.

5 Essential Tips To Ensure Annual Enrollment Success
You’ve worked hard strategizing and planning to get your clients up to this point. But now it’s time to switch from strategy to action.
Whether or not your clients are leveraging the Benefitsolver, Workterra, or ComplianceDashboard platforms, we want to help you support them through this busy time of year. Feel free to copy and paste these tips on your next communication to your clients gearing up for AE.
1. Engage Stakeholders Early: Involve stakeholders outside of HR, such as payroll and finance, early in the planning process. This collaboration will help prevent file errors and ensure accurate payments.2. Allow Sufficient Time with Your Tech Provider: Allow ample time for setup and testing to ensure a seamless enrollment process. If your current partner isn’t doing this, this might be a red flag.
3. Test Your Platform: Thoroughly test your benefits platform—even if you've been using it for years—to catch issues like unfunded claims or incorrect payroll deductions before AE starts.
4. Prioritize Employee Communications: Utilize various communication channels to keep employees informed about their benefits. Consider virtual benefits fairs, personalized notifications, and benefits assistants to address employee questions effectively.
5. Stay Calm During Challenges: Expect some issues during AE, but know that most can resolved quickly with your tech provider.
It may feel like there’s so much going on right now, but taking just a few more extra streps such as these can ensure you are prepped and ready for the most painless and “quiet” AE yet!
