New Member Surveys
We’re launching three new surveys in June to support your benefits strategies. We will turn these surveys on June 7. Clients can opt out of the surveys during the two-week window of May 28 – June 7. To opt out, you’ll simply inform your client services lead of the surveys you want to opt out of.
In addition to launching these new surveys, we're also launching our integrated Benefits Insights Dashboards later this year to provide you with all the valuable insights we glean from the surveys to help you drive your benefits strategy.
- Enrollment Survey: helps you better understand the overall member enrollment experience.
- Benefit Literacy Survey: helps you better comprehend each member’s knowledge of benefits and offer the ability to segment employees by knowledge level. This data enables you to provide targeted communications and personalized experiences.
- Benefits Program Kano Survey: measures the benefits programs most important to specific member populations to give you insights into how to develop your own benefits “roadmap.”
Vice President of UX, Dr. Kimberly Dunwoody recently explained why these surveys will be critical elements for both our product and our clients. "We conducted in-depth research with our members and clients, identifying a clear need for additional data, and in turn, created these new surveys," she said. "Our survey strategy is key, as it will directly connect clients with their employees' changing attitudes toward their benefits."

Icon Glow-Up
After performing user testing and receiving client and member feedback, we found that we needed to modernize the look and feel of our web and mobile experience. We routinely update our software’s look and feel to ensure it remains accessible and in compliance with Section 508 V2 and WCAG 2.0 A and AA accessibility guidelines.
Specifically, we simplified icons and made them more consistent throughout the experience. We also aligned new icons to support all benefit and benefit program types. The new experience provides better alignment between Businessolver and MyChoice® branding. The fresh new look is coming later this week!


IP Addresses – Allow-List
Businessolver is continually increasing the capacity of our system for faster processing and reduced load times. To ensure uninterrupted connections as we perform these continued upgrades, we request that you provide the linked instructions below to your IT department to ensure all of our IP addresses are allow-listed (previously known as whitelisting). The document includes new IP addresses that have not previously been provided to your IT department.

The Businessolver Hackathon Experience

What’s New in Compliance?

Have you completed non-discrimination testing (NDT)?
Each year, employers find themselves working at the end of the year to complete their nondiscrimination testing and respond to the results. Because it isn’t uncommon for plans to struggle to pass Dependent Care FSA tests—employers sometimes must take steps to correct a plan failure—and if these tests aren’t completed until later in the year, the “fix” required can be frustrating for plan participants, sometimes resulting in additional taxes that impact their paychecks.
By testing in the spring, employers can test their plans and generally have time to respond to failures without the same impact.
Audience: Group health plan sponsors should consider completing their nondiscrimination testing in Q2 to minimize participant impacts.
