What's New in Compliance?
IRS Updates 2025 Limits for Spending Accounts
The IRS has issued updates for 2025 for the inflation-adjusted amounts for contributions to health flexible spending arrangements. The 2025 contribution limit for FSAs is $3,300. If the cafeteria plan permits the carryover of unused amounts, the maximum carryover amount is $660. If you have indicated that the system should update your maximums for the upcoming year to align with the IRS, those updates went into effect on 10/25, so enrolling members can elect the 2025 maximum.

The Departments of Treasury, HHS, and Labor (The Depts.) have issued Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) regarding the implementation of certain provisions of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the Women’s Health and Cancer Rights Act (WHCRA).
