ICYMI, our seventh annual Benefits Insights report is out in the world! This year’s study takes a look at how having the right technology in place pays off big time for HR and your C-suite stakeholders. Here are a few stats that stood out to us the most:

    • Employees are 129% more likely to elect a cost-effective health plan with a pre-tax savings account when they have decision support at enrollment.
    • 79% of employees feel confident about their benefit choices when the experience is personalized to them—despite ongoing benefits confusion.
    • Right-fit steerage and self-service tools can help you avoid or recoup $3,000,000+ annually.

But our data also shows that while employees are ready and willing to use modern technology—like personalized decision support, their claims data, and AI—industry-wide adoption of these tools is lagging.

Thanks to feedback and participation from all of you, we’re able to show the real impact of having the right benefits administration technology, tools, and service in play.

MyChoice Find a Provider is Getting a Mental Health Upgrade 

Rula Health adds 10,000+ providers to the directory 


MyChoice Find a Provider is enhancing support for your members. Starting April 1, members can access Rula Health mental health providers within their network. Rula providers will be easily recognizable, marked with a Rula badge indicating their trustworthiness. Members can review profiles, check availability, and schedule appointments directly for as soon as the next day. This service complements the mental health professionals available through your EAP and other in-network options.

President Trump’s executive order seeks to expand on previous transparency efforts 

President Trump recently issued a new executive order that seeks to advance health care transparency by requiring the Secretary of the Treasury, the Secretary of Labor, and the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) to take action to implement and enforce the healthcare price transparency regulations issued pursuant to Executive Order 13877, an order from his first administration seeking increased price transparency.

The order demands that the Secretary of the Treasury, the Secretary of Labor, and the Secretary of HHS:

    • Require the disclosure of the actual prices of items and services, not estimates; 
    • Issue updated guidance or proposed regulatory action ensuring pricing information is standardized and easily comparable across hospitals and health plans; and
    • Issue guidance or proposed regulatory action updating enforcement policies designed to ensure compliance with the transparent reporting of complete, accurate, and meaningful data.
