Product Spotlight: Your Benefits Insights Dashboards
Don’t miss out on great analytics
Late in 2025, we rolled out our Benefits Participation and Premium Cost Insights Dashboards in your Benefits Insights Dashboard suite. This newest set of dashboards gives you a clear view of how employees enroll in benefits, what those choices cost, and how behavior changes over time. Using interactive visuals, you can see which benefits and plans are most utilized, how enrollment varies across demographics and coverage tiers, and where premium costs are concentrated between employers and employees.
These dashboards also highlight enrollment trends—such as plan switching, waivers, and completion status during annual enrollment—helping you spot where employees may need additional guidance or reminders. Point in time comparisons and over time views make it easy to identify shifts, emerging cost pressures, or unusual enrollment patterns.
Together, these insights help you target communications, manage costs, forecast support needs, and make informed decisions that improve both the enrollment experience and overall benefits strategy.
Check out the feedback tab in the dashboard to let our team know how to improve this set of data for you.
To see a step-by-step of these dashboards in action, visit the Learning Hub > Training and Insights Tab > Benefitsolver Updates for some short demos and use this handy quick guide to see what information you can find here.
Product News: MyChoice Benefits App Branding Update
Upload your own mobile specific logos and colors
We’re introducing an enhancement that gives you more control over how your brand appears in the benefits app. Previously, mobile-specific branding fields were available in Company > Company Information, but the benefits app didn’t yet display those colors or logos. This meant your web and fulfillment branding carried over by default.
You can now update the Mobile App Style under Company Information option to display your chosen color and logo in the benefits app, allowing for a more customized brand experience.
Work with your client team to set up your preferred mobile branding in Company Information, then update MyChoice Mobile Configuration to specify the source of your branding preferences.

Reminder: ServiceNow Approvals and Client Support
As a reminder, beginning this week, we’re changing how approvals and client support are managed by moving key processes into ServiceNow—designed to make communication faster, clearer, and more consistent.
What’s changing?
Work Request approvals will now come directly from ServiceNow via email. You can approve or reject requests with a single click—no more approvals in Benefitsolver → Discovery. In addition, emails sent to your designated support inboxes will automatically create a ServiceNow case. Before any case is closed, you’ll have the opportunity to accept or deny the proposed solution via email.
What this means for you:
Expect faster approvals, clearer tracking, and more coordinated support. Your service team will have shared visibility, reducing extra emails and delivering more consistent service—now and as we continue building toward our client portal planned for early 2027.
Email allowlisting: For clients with stricter requirements
Clients with stricter email security requirements may need to update their allowlisting rules. Most clients will not need to take any action; however, organizations that rely on IP-based allowlisting should allowlist ServiceNow’s SPF records to ensure consistent delivery.
ServiceNow recommends including all three, as IPs can shift during outages or failover events:
- b.spf.service-now.com – Canada data centers
- c.spf.service-now.com – US/Europe data centers
- d.spf.service-now.com – All other data centers
What’s New in Compliance?
IRS issues update 2025 Publication 969
On February 11, the IRS issued a 2025 Publication 969, “Health Savings Accounts and Other Tax-Favored Health Plans.” This updated document includes telehealth and remote care updates, and the health care FSA carryover and contribution limits.
Employers should review the document as they prepare their 2025 tax filings and 2026 plan year administration.
Is your Notice of Privacy Practices current?
The updated HIPAA guidance requires group health plans to have revised their Notices of Privacy Practices (NPPs) by February 16, 2026, to incorporate the new Part 2 substance use disorder privacy rule requirements.
Businessolver’s NPP was updated prior to the February 16, 2026, deadline. Employers should ensure that their own notices also reflect the required language.
For more information on the required updates, please see the HHS site with the updated guidance and links to sample notices.

A Peek at Our Pinnacle Partners: Pet Insurance is More Important Than Ever
Protecting pets—and budgets—as care costs continue to climb
Veterinary care costs continue to rise—up 60% over the past decade—and many pet owners underestimate how quickly routine visits, diagnostics, and emergencies can add up. Our Pinnacle Partner Pets Best reported processing more than $1 billion in claims for over 2.7 million insured pets, showing just how often families rely on coverage to manage unexpected expenses.
At the same time, research continues to show the meaningful emotional and wellbeing benefits pets bring to their families—making access to timely, high-quality veterinary care more important than ever. With costs climbing and care needs becoming more complex, pet insurance offers valuable protection by reducing out-of-pocket expenses and helping owners make decisions based on what their pets need—not what they can afford.
Read Pets Best’s recent blog to learn more about how pet insurance helps combat the rising costs of pet care.
